nice voice ! the music has a nice traditional sound but i like that your voice doesn't sound like every body else's voice coming out of nashville.

I really loved this one .......
.......when I first heard it. Ed, you've got such a great voice for this style of music, and I really liked the way this chugs along. Would have loved to hear it with a "proper" guitarist on lead, but it sure was a load of fun for me.
Thanks for asking me to play on it Ed - great little song!

..awesome ..

.. reminded me a little of Paul Simon's "Graceland"
in some way .. beautiful rich voice you got there ..
production is excellent.. lovely job Neil too ..
'ain't he great :o)

I thought the trumpet at the end was going to go into "oh
when the saints" for minute ..hehe.

Excellent song.

Graceland?
Really didn't give it much thought until you brought it up but I agree with you. as for the trumpet part I felt the same way but I felt it worked.

Thanks

Well, I hear that train a-comin'....
...it's comin' 'round the bend...

And man, it's kind of a distillation of Johnny Cash and The Band doing 'Mystery Train'...

After the country-train lope propelled by Neil's bass, what stands out is the vocal, which is sincere, clear and doesn't fall into that mannered and phony 'country' voice that a lot of male country singers feel compelled to adopt these days... And then there's that French horn sounding synth break...

Pretty neat...

It's Coming
Ed

Thanks for the kind words and listen. I agree with you in that Neil's Bass line is right on the money. The fact the you knew it was a french horn (not a trumpet) also shows that you listen with intent and that is appreciated.

Love it...
...great collab Ed. Missed this when it came out but glad I found it at last. Faved, and will play many times. Really good playing and some nice guitar licks - even though Neil is being modest!!)

Lovely stuff - you have avery distinctive voice, and I love the delivery.

Coutry rocking ...
ala Poco/Souther-Hillman-Furay. I love this kind of music. This could be an additional track on one of their albums. Good one guys, nicely put together and delivered!

Nice Tune
I like the steady drive and the vocals are really strong. I am a sucker for the grood harmonies. I like the horn in the middle. Very cool idea. Nice production. Thanks
