Fan List
Description:
A 13 minute saxophone and piano epic that I created to pass the time. There was no one listening but me so I just kept going. There are some really cool sax lines in here. The recording quality is kind of lacking. It's about 4 or 5 years old.

Hardware:
Selmer S-80 alto sax, Roland VS-880, Ensoniq KT-76

Wonderful jazz &mdash 09/08/04 - 04:42:37 PM
piece and a wonderful bit of saxophone. Some of one's best stuff comes when no one is listening and you just go with it. Very enjoyable.

It's wierd how some stuff just &mdash 09/10/04 - 03:42:04 AM
slips through the net and gets lost. The recording quality
is pretty awful on this up front. The sax sounds very weak
and distant at first but I like the doubled up stuff. Almost
sounds like a more mellow Average White Band once it
gets going.

Sounds like a really excellent demo. I agree with you
about the sax playing, very cool. In fact I think you
summed the whole thing up pretty well.

Liked it.

Great Sax &mdash 09/10/04 - 06:53:55 AM
Of course, it would be way better if you took the time to
pair this down into a real song. Right now, it's a 13
minute jam. Still, as noted a good listen. I like some of
the slower parts toward the end, it's just that the 3 chord
progression for most of the song really started to get
tired. (I have a 14 minute song that is primarily 2 chords.
YIKES! LOL) 6-7-6-7

Sax in the city &mdash 12/06/04 - 08:39:45 AM
It definitely has an urban late-night feel to it. Soulful
notes in search of an opus, a vessel of containment from
which to spill forth. Keep jammin.
