This is a very natural song for me. It has elements of all my creative influences. The beginning part, a bit of a Velvet Underground, the second, a bit of a punk rock feel, and last part , a little trippy jazz thing.
Hope you like it.

This is a kind of Country .. very nice work here Dave.

I dig the runs in between verse. Reminded me of the Wizard of Oz for some reason. Made the song unique. I liked the stereo aspect of them too.

Very cool tune Dave! there is a neat groove that a little laid back but moving forward at the same time. Really nice layering throughout.
Really like the decending chord segment with that really whacked guitar weaving though it. Great imagination for different yet still a pop flavor.

The wait I'm referring to is MacJam's refusal to load this morning. . . But this song made coming back over and over again worth it. I have to agree with Lengold (and believe me, it's difficult for me to be agreeing with a rock) that I'd have liked to read the lyrics, as the vocals were great, but not always easy to understand.

I forget now who said it, but I agree that it's a beautifully laid back song that doesn't fall into the trap of going nowhere. If you ever bring out a Greatest Hits album, I'd definitely add this song to it.
