Description:
I've remixed this and deleted the original. I hate doing it - wish you could just overwrite the file. Anyway, it's not a great deal different. I've altered the drum dynamics slightly and added a bit more synth. I still don't know what genre it may be. Does it matter? But it's got a worldy sound to it. Groove Monkey drum midis and the Albino 3 synth used, with a bit of Shogun and Tigris percussion.

Hardware:
G5 iMac, Edirol midi controller

Software:
Albino 3 soft synth

Wonderful choices, clarity, pacing. I enjoyed the clever, interesting arpeggio movements, use of lyrical syncopation in the right hand. I thought one thing the track could have used was a sweeping legato melody section (as a variation) that might sweep over the top of the atomistic short decay time plucks (which are delightful). Reminded me of Ray Lynch: witty and lighthearted, a truly feel good track.

for this composition LOL. As always you've really got this together... methinks the work of a perfectionist as you tend to go back on your work with improvement in mind, but it's not a lot of 'improvement' as you said, (that's not a criticism) it's just more variation on a theme. I like the 'organic' or natural/'home grown' feel of your music, regards M

It's usually to fix mistakes! I shouldn't be so hasty to post a tune. Maybe I should wait for a few days, keep listening and changing before posting. But I'm just too impatient! Would be great if you could overwrite a file, but you can't do that here.
