ooooooo...spooky... I turned quite pale listening to this... The music is absolutely pro done apb!
The piano part where 'the bones began to dance' is brilliant.
And what fab job with the words Caroline. Your voice is perfect for such a narration. You would do great in a radio theatre:) The story here is captivating.
caroline
i love alans clever music and it was around at the same time as the muse - a miracle!! and talking of theatres ... i'm off to direct a pantomime with a cast of 40!! i should've stuck with the poems! :)
I do and great music by Alan... Happy halloween to you both.

I had the privilege of hearing the advance version of this because Eppy's been putting together his Halloween podcast. Very fine indeed, and a nice arrangement. I hope no badgers were harmed in the making.
caroline
no badgers were harmed in the making of this piece but i cannot vouch for the hedgehogs! ;) xoxo

Dance Mac-(mini)-abre! :o)
As a big fan of Caroline's wit and charm, it was great she had this excellent concept and offered to do this.
It very much makes the song her own (in my mind), I just re-arranged it to suit and added in some more special audio effects to help the imagination along etc.
Although not alfalpha, paddler or cameron standard,
I am quite proud of this combined effort.
Thanks Thor, Kenta, Rebsie/Eppy .. happy Halloween
kids ..and hang on to yer bones!!!

you sound a little bit like Marianne Faithfull on this! Which is great. Fabulous, although perhaps a little bit scary for Children's music... Loved it!

guygrooves
I am gonna share this with my niece and nephew as well as add it to my Itunes this is so cooooooool !!!
caroline
how cool is that!! flattered beyond belief!! thank you xox
woofer3
it reminds me of some of Joe Meek's early productions with Sreaming Lord Sutch, if I may make one suggestion though I feel the voice should be up a little more in the mix as I felt the music though great was a little overpowering in places and I found myself having to really listen for the words. Mind you having said that my hearing is not as good as it should be anymore so maybe it's me. Whatever it's an excellent record.
John
caroline
you are being very generous with the time you are spending listening to my work - how kind xoxoxo
btw - i shall refer your suggestion back to apb who was the technical wizz on this one - and the musician - and the inspiration - bless!
apb
.. only now do I find woofer3's suggestion, myself! Pfft .. ;o) Yup, I think you are right .. Caroline needs a little more tweaking up .. she's a bit swamped in amongst my soup ;o)

all children, young and old. it is wild music. the poetic reading is chilling. it is of a grave nature. until the end. it is a story with a twist of humour. it creates a smile. thank you. 0x0
