	Fighting well. A good tune with lots of energy and potential.Well written,nice guitar tones (aren't Pods great!)and nice vocal harmonies.Personally I think a killer bass line and some drums with punch and boom would really elevate this song overall.Still much enjoyed the 'fight'.Good stuff. 	Yes, although I'm more of an acoustic/classical gal, This has great energy and emotion. More bass would be great! I love the vocal harmonies and how you pop them in and out. I'd really like to hear that lead vocal more upfront, too. Check out my latest song called What a Friend We Have in Jesus

Some Good stuff in here
Generally, a good composition, with energetic vocal work.

Well-played. I especially liked the lead guitar break... some very nice licks.

Two suggestions to polish the arrangement a bit:

1) Add some brief melodic guitar riff accents, or organ, on top of the repetitive staccato/funk chords during the verses, to give them some sense of variation.
2) Add a vocal *follow* to the choruses... or some harmony. ;)

some singing tips
i like the feel of the music, but, from a singer's standpoint, you fall into the guitar player's trap;
you sing like you play. this is probably how you wrote it, and how you sing it live, but as a singer, your job is to weave melody in around, and thoughout the music. lyrics are well written, and catchy, but the phrasing needs to be tweaked a touch... if you play drums as well, think of vocals like that. you have to take off your guitar hat to play drums, and singers have thier hat as well. some really good singers here are Rebsie, Egobandit, and Craft. well, and me, if you dont mind a shameless plug. dont get me wrong, now, i mean this in the most sincere positive way, and in the spirit of community and friendship. i know sometimes it is hard to tell in text. but have fun, and keep on writing...

I think youve got a really good voice - and great to hear live drumming.Songs grreat - reminds me a bit of a Rush kind of rhythm and bass.I'd happily sit and get drunk watching a band playing this stuff and end up falling around everywhere.

Theres only one thing I'd change and dont ask me how to do it - my songs are about as rough as an arse when it comes to sound quality but I only say this cos the vocals are so great it would be even better to hear them surrounding everything a bit more.Its great when you double up on bits.Dunno - maybe something like a bit of stereo chorus panned extreme left and right - with hardly any feedback and dry in the middle - just to fill it out.Its only a constructive idea and no reflection of what is a fine song.

Hey,
Glad you put that plug in the forum, otherwise I would have missed this little gem. I think this track has a lot of spunk. being a guitar player who also falls into the Guitar-player-vocalist- trap, I think your singing is pretty strong. The lead was cool and over-all the mix is pretty well balanced if not a little muddy, lacking in high end sparkle. The vocals could use a little reverb to give them some convincing space to sit in along side the rest of the music. Good work. Keep it up.

P.S. I think Allen Dean meant Echoroom, not Egobandit as an example of a great MacJams vocalist. (Egobandit won't take offense, I am sure) You can check his page or a collab called "Overload" I just did with him on my page:

Agree...
...with all the comments about the vocals. The melody and the delivery need to ratchet up a notch to get to the next level. Occasionally when you harmonise the vox it works well (sounds like YES 90215 or whatever it was) - and I suspect you need a decent mic (and I know about what it's like to need a decent mic)....

The gutar playing rocks though. Thanks for the forum post - glad I found this.

Really liked this.....
Very well put together, I thought the harmony lines were especially powerful. I liked the comment about the drumming; reminded me of Rush's drummer too (and that guy was top-shelf). Your guitar playing is outstanding with a great sense of rhythm to the lead. I appreciate the post as it did not waste my time. Yes, the mix could improve, but I think it's more in the way each track is recorded rather than in the way you put the individual parts together, which is rather nicely done. 'course, I don't know much about that except that I've heard great things on this site and I know it can be done.

	Good One Overall, I thought this was a good effort. I think Allen Dean's comments about the vocal are worthwhile. There's a lot more melody in this song than you are singing. Lead guitar was good with a great tone. Keep at it. Check out my latest song called Darkness of the Night
