Cheers Ed Yes...it is my current mission to get slightly underused words and phrases into songs. On Waking Life I got 'inimitable' in there and on this one 'sedentary' and 'comfy chair'. Its like musical scrabble to me! Cheers for listening Steve Check out my latest song called Electricity

Being an (previously) active girl I really like this song. But I just like the song. :) And the warm acoustic-ness of it. Or whatever it might be called. Check out my latest song called Julia

So John Sebastian! Lovely song Steve - I suspect that this style is what you do best, although I love your Strat playing too. Love Ed's "first generation whimsy" comment too :) Cheers, Neil Check out my latest song called Under My Skin

Less than active boy.... I love the line about the comfy chair. That's my life in a nutshell. Nice and fun. Enjoyed it. Check out my latest song called Feeling Good Today

We Americans never quite manage to produce first generation whimsy...we have to buy it in import stores, and by then it's never as fresh... Along with scones and Devonshire clotted cream...
This may be rough-hewn, but it's a song, all right, and actually a nice one. Another that I could hear a band like Belle and Sebastian do...
It's neat to hear you sub-vocalizing the picking pattern...
Also great to hear someone put the phrase 'comfy chair' into a piece of music...
