Nice tune.
Like the vibe you've got going on here.Fine mix and production, great melody and keyboard work. This song really comes together and shines with those David Gilmorish guitar voicings.Don't know why but song ends abruptly during second guitar lead.Don't know if it was intended or something on my end or the site.? Still very much enjoyed.

Blessings,

Doesn't
come across as a 'dirge' atall. It's very well produced and a great song well sung. I think the backing is really excellent, especially the guitar lead, I love it, regards M

Welcome to MacJams
Great melody and nice bit of songwriting. I love the double tracked vocals ... gives it a really warm and sweet sound. Nicely constructed and nicely produced.

Those guitar solos are excellent.

:o)

.. I liked this alot: kinda Pink Floyd meets the Divine Comedy .. can't be bad.

The solo is excellent ... as is the song and arrangement.

It's not that gloomy ... got a hopeful edge to it ..
I like that.

Welcome to MJs Sir, should I bow now? ;o)

enjoyed
Liked the changes on this tune, that to me is what really makes this thing work.

I also liked your use of organ and your superb expressive guitar (crying) playing which seemed quite appropriate for this tune.

I really enjoyed this one.

Thank you kindly. This is one of my first songs and Im enjoyed putting some convoluted chords together. The middle dream sequence I actually constructed backwards from the point I wanted to end up at. Try it, its fun.

Sir Dennis :)

Complex and compellinge
Nice, multilayered piece of songwriting. Well sung, and also clearly sung - you can actually hear the lyrics without having to fumble around looking for them on the song page. Great guitar work. Reminiscent of David Gilmour, as others have commented.

The chords are very orginal and give the whole thing a lot of presence. The ending is like a snack-size tube of Pringles (yours, Wilde!): it leaves us hungering for more...
