I can definitely bring the voice closer I think you're right about that and I'll play with the percussion some more. This was a first pass attempt last night to find the right atmosphere. I'm happy with the accordion and bass. I wasn't thinking of much more instrumentation - I think it's more about finessing the space and balance of these few elements. I considered backing some of your vocals - might be interesting considering the similarity of our voices. Check out my latest song called try not to think

Thanks, Vic "Finally," is right. Big leap for me. Thanks for the good vibe. I think I'm more of a in-the-background lyrics guy. My instrumental skill and musical imagination isn't as strong as my ability to tell a story or capture a feeling. Most of the time I'll leave the music to Bud, but it was fun stepping up to the H2. I like what you did with the accordian sound. It adds just the right nocturnal ballad atmosphere. I think I'd take a little of the echo out of my voice so it sounds closer, if that makes sense. I also wonder if the percussion at times could act as a counterpoint to my guitar. There's one heavy downstroke in my playing that might benefit from a beat that doesn't also land on that downstroke. Do you know what I mean? I don't know if that's possible, but it might breakup that repetition. So all this feedback is from my first listen. I listen a few more times and get back to you. Thanks for taking the time to produce. Were you thinking of any other instrumentation?
