is about all I needed to fav. its also the very 1st tune I have had the privilege to play on my new IMAC :-) Sounds Great. Nice break drum-bassy thing. The crunchy chords that segue-way in were supremely cool.
How'd ya conjure up that bass line? is it played or midi input? Thx for breakin the new machine so nicely.

The bass line is MIDI, I just try to get a single note groove going on the keyboard then tweak the runs from there. One of my favorite things in Logic 8 is the Sculpture module, it's a cool synth that I fell in love with the bass sounds it produces.

Damn aliens &mdash 11/10/07 - 12:22:13 PM
Really enjoyed this guitar playing. The drumming sounds like a real player; I think the kick and toms could be mixed a little louder, tho. This is a really cool jam, Z.

I think BFD is one of the best pieces of drum software. There are endless tweaks that can be made, one of which is making the toms and bass drum louder. Thanks for a drummer's perspective, it lets me know what others are hearing.

gotta love logic 8 &mdash 11/10/07 - 07:41:10 PM
great rocker! some nice touches of great influences. at the beginning i hear a nod to Jimi. then on to Satriani, a little Santana. and yes aliens suck.

Geez, you know my influences better then I do. When you play a simple sharp 9 chord it's hard not to think of Jimi. Can't wait to hear what you will be doing with Logic 8.

Joy! Rapture!

Now let's see if I can leave a comment...

I'm really enjoying the pure, unadulterated guitar-ness of this... Great rock jam... It's just fun to listen to... Maybe the best use of Guitar Rig that I've heard, just in terms of tone... very round and tube-y to my ears...

It happily heads to the iPod...

Half my life is spent tweaking Guitar Rig so your tube comment is appreciated.
