Description
a foray into a drum beat...using a synth hitting on the 4 of an 8 beat drum section...gives a sense that the synth is in 7/4, when its in 8/4...everything sorta fell into place...lemme know what you think!

Very cool.
This is a fun sounding tune. Don't know the whole timing thing, but yes, it did sound like "everything fell into place." :)

I like the kit you used on this... huge. Is the kit track "scorched" on purpose? It's probably what makes it sound so huge... there's a lesson here somewhere... Hmmm, maybe I can use that in something...

the kit
i used i took off of garageband and set different tracks to hold the snare, bass, hi hat, and the rest...the bass drum is "scorched" and the snare as well...for sure on purpose...the sound of slightly distorted drums is good in my book...thanks for the comment and listening

Great idea... splitting the drums up into separate tracks and then tweeking separately.

unexpected
This was a really amazing song, really spacey synths and the chopped up beats put on a perfect show, I loved it

I like it
I like it with the synth and drums all by themselves, but when the bell part (is it bells?) enters, that really adds just the right touch.

I like the chord progression, from I to IV, with the extended voicings. Good choices.

I love hearing the filters open and close. Reminds me of my first experiences with synths. Good times.
