Lyrics
What do I do to take this pain away?
What did I do to deserve this blame?
That shiny white dress emphasizes your frame
And you're so beautiful that I can't look away

You're walking down the aisle
I'm failing to put my best smile
I pray to my God that you won't look my side
I pretend that I'm invisible
Look my face, it's all over it
Only if I could go back in time

But it's too late now

Oh you made me realise
there's more than meets the eye
I could feel it but I didn't know it was there all along
Oh how could I not realise
I've been looking all my life
You were always there from the beginning

Suddenly all makes sense
What do I do now?

I almost called you last night
but I am glad that I wasn't that dumb
You've been sending me the sign
and I kept missing
I know I should be happy for you
In reality I'm wishing
Only if I could go back in time

But it's too late, innit?

Oh you made me realise
there's more than meets the eye
I could feel it but I didn't know it was there all along
Oh how could I not realise
I've been looking all my life
You were always there from the beginning

Suddenly all makes sense
But what do I do now?

it has been some time to hear from you.

A truly uptempo song. Sure lifts the spirits on a rainy day. A lot of confidence in your playing! really great piece!

Fabulous arrangement. I love all the changes of rhythms you use, the subtle shifts in feel and technique and styling. So well thought through and coherent. The idea of realizing you love someone as they are walking down the aisle with someone else is clever, very film score worthy. I'm glad you didn't move beyond this frozen moment in time, it works as is. You are so good at this.

hello tobin. long time no see.
yeah, if i were the hero of the song, i wouldnt make an action about it. lol that would only make it worse. thanks for your comment regarding the arrangement! i listened to lots of Ben Folds songs and analyzed the arragenments of his. hopefully this doesnt sound just a rip-off, though.

jesus!
One of my favourite JH songs is 'All the Beautiful People (My Piano Wont Stop)', and this new song will certainly become another one!
It always makes me very happy to listen to your piano.

So when can we get to see your piano performance in live???

We all love you so much, Yusuke!! IoI

hey. cheers for your comment, sumo!
well, i havent played piano in the live shows because i cannot only play my songs in C key only.... lol when recording, all i needed to do was to tranport the key after i played them in C key to fit my vocal range. need a lot more practice to perform on stage for real!

Good-Time Pop
I've said it before... you just have great Pop sensibilities, my young friend.

This upbeat tune is just another example. You really ought to try shopping tunes like this to some of the film and TV people. ;)

Very nice!
Great, catchy tune. This song has a lot of "bottom end" punch that I really enjoy. It has a good "thump" so to speak.

I LOVE the organ panned to one side in the beginning.

I LOVED the organ panned to one side at the start of the song. Organ really sounded great all the way through.

hey. thank you very much for taking time to comment!
the organ sound was the pre-set sound of Garageband or Jam Pack sound.
it's called Radio Organ. which is my favourite organ soud from Garageband.

Love the duality...
...between the upbeat tempo and happy sounding music, and the heartbroken lyrics. I LOVE that! Also love your voice. Thanks so much for sharing!
