Description:
This is a song about a woman that could set your soul on fire, but was ice on the inside. A mere shell of a woman was all that is left of her.
I hope you enjoy listening to the story of a "Fallen Angel"

Verse 1
She's the kind of a woman, that'll turn your head around
Set your blood on fire, and not murmur a sound
she can take you to heaven, or she can put you down
Verse 2
She's a fallen angel, a woman of the night
She'll make love to a stranger, if he can pay the price
She's a fallen angel, a lady of the night
Chorus 1
Every night when she goes home.
she has no lover to call her own
She locks her feelings deep inside,
and hide herself within her pride
Verse 3
She's a fallen angel, a lady of the night
Set your blood on fire, if you can pay the price
She's a fallen angel, a woman of the night
Instrumental Bridge
Chorus 2
Every night when she goes home,
you know she goes home all alone
And locks her feelings deep inside,
and hides herself within her pride
Repeat Verse 3
She's a fallen angel, a lady of the night
Set your blood on fire, if you can pay the price
She's a fallen angel, a woman of the night
She's a fallen angel, a woman of the night
She's a fallen angel, a woman of the night

It's one of those songs I just had to write. I seen it lived out in some girls I've known over the years and it's a sad existence. Just a hollow shell of real life completely devoid of real love.
But anyway, I'm glad you liked it and found something good about it. Thanks for all you support over the last few months since I've been posting to MacJams my friend, it really helps me to keep working on the music again after all these years os being away from it.
Take care and be well my friend.

keep coming up with these great songs and they're all good. Great sound too with your vocal and the guitars. You did a good job here mixing tracks as well, as it sounds as if it was all done at once, regards M

It's always nice to here your words of encouragement on one of my songs. What I really need to do is redo the vocal and lead tracks properly and make a whole new cut of this song, but I'm not in the mood right now to do it. Maybe one of these days when I'm not feeling so lazy, I'll do that.
Anyway, thanks again for visiting and for the kind words, they are appreciated.
Be well my friend

...an accurate description in your lyrics...
...I've had some very good friends like this, too...
Just read the comments. Into the tune. I've got no problem with the vox...but the leads could come up a tad with a bit more treble, IMHO...

I've had a few friends in the business too and it really is pretty accurate.
This version was done by augmenting an old demo I made in 92, I believe, so I hesitate to mess with it until I can redo both parts. There's no way to separate the vocal from the rest of the original back tracks now.
I agree that the lead parts need to be done differently and one of these days I'll do what is needed to fix it. Just have to wait to get the courage to try the vocal again, it's a bit of a stretch for me because of the key.
Thanks again for the comments and for listening Bob. Be well friend

Yeah...I know that feeling about revisiting an old tune...

each time I think about it. Maybe someday I'll get back to it.
