i was listening to this and looking at the photo and i got this great image of my wife and i walking down the beach (on the vacation that's not about to happen anytime soon) while this is playing in the background somewhere (sounding like it's coming from the sky). thanks for providing that little daydream, great song. It continues to be interesting and amazing to me how the two of you manage to gel over the long distances... You get your tracks to really mix and intertwine...
Of course, I hear instrumental tracks much of the time and start wondering what they'd sound like with WORDS... That's just a wonder, not a lack...
You guys have a nice juxtaposition of flow and structure in the things you do...

Steely Dan would have been proud to call this one of their tracks. What a great sound. The Rhodes bed is mellow yet edgy. The synth lines are all well-placed and played.
Love that Rhodes lead starting almost half-way through. Reminds me of the Rhodes on "Riders On The Storm" by The Doors.
Love the way the long synth notes change character as filters open and close.

This one really made me feel good. Really dug the bass lines in this one, just carried it along so nicely.
Nice slow build and a gentle keyboard touch.
Made me want to pick up my sax or flute, but damn, I'm at work (grrrrrrrr!).
