This song was one our second collaboration. I revamp it to make it sound better. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I had working on it with him.

Hector, diggin the new bass track. Its great to hear you stretchin out. I also like the tweaks you made to the rythym tracks. Even funkier!
Hectorious
Thanks Brother:0}

What an awesome groove. I wish I was drumming on this jam, as I love playing that kind of funk! The organ is superb with a killer sharp edge, and the bass is over-the-top cool, as usual with the big H. And I really dig the keys that come in at the end, too. Just a cool, fun jam, great job guys.
Hectorious
I'm really happy that you dig this tune Pal. If you'd like I'll send you the bass track and the keys as well.

Masterful playing by you both and fantastic feel. Excellent mixing skills too. Missing the d/load - shame.
Great stuff.

My monitors tell me that there are some serious low frequencies here, in particular the bass drum. Since your bass also has a rather dark sound I wonder if they're not getting slightly in each other's way.
Anyway. This is some serious grooving! Your bass is excellent. Bit of chorus on it in some places?
I'm intrigued by the percussion sound in the beginning. What are you doing there?
Btw, check out my latest track. I'm finally using my bass guitar for something on this site. Mind you, I'm nowhere near as good as you.
Hectorious
Sorry I guess those mistakes come easy to me because I love the low end:0}
Hectorious
use chorus on the bass. The beginning was to sound like all hell was get ready to break lose. Like a rumble in the jungle:0}
Joe Brady
Killer bass and organ! You sound great, Hectorious.
Hectorious
KTB did a great job on this tune:0}

You two certainly have the chops but you both also seem to get it about simplicity... None of it ever sounds like too-much-crammed-into-a-groove-space, none of it ever sounds like you're showing off...
It just ends up sounding--and feeling--good...

Thats what I really dig about these Jams. They make ya feel good. It makes feel good putting them out there everyone to hear.

...thats all that comes to mind.
Hectorious
thats exactly what came to my mind as well:0}

great bass playing-right in the pocket-no extraneous slap triplets.Excellent track real funky!
Hectorious
was aiming for. I did not want it to be a over the top bass line. I just wanted it to be an in the pocket groove. I'll never be a Marcus Miller and I'm cool with that:0}

...with lots of different looks and layers...
...always into both of your stuff...I often think your guitar work's overlooked, Hector. Sounds really fine...
Hot stuff, guys...
Hectorious
That means alot coming from you Buddy:0}

Whooooooooomp! Nice stretchin Heck! You guys really sound great together. Could stay in this groove on stage for a long time, keeping the interest of all. It sure is a butt shaker. I already took three choruses and am just getting warmed up. Whew. Man you guys must work your horn men out.
Hectorious
Your more then welcome to join the party buddy:0}

As always, nice job dudes. Enjoyed your solo Hector, I would of opted for a slight envelope filter instead of chorus but that is a personal choice. The transition out of the bass solo was very cool. Great keys K, some slight timing issues but the melodic ideas are stellar.
