More of a sketch - part of a portfolio for a composition course. Unfinished, but I think it's sounding pretty nice so far...

Garageband (using a midi file taken from a score in Finale notepad)

Love the sound of the celeste - &mdash 11/25/07 - 11:09:39 PM
The juxtaposition of the photo with the 'fairytale' sound of the celeste is unsettling. Nice start of something bigger, perhaps. Reintroduce the theme in strings or piano, or oboe, perhaps.

I use Finale (full edition) for writing most of my own classical compositions, and find that it's a really great companion to GarageBand.
