classical (384)romantically (1)piano (620)sonata (8)van Haren (2)
Description:
A new piece: This is the first movement of my second piano sonata in Des Major. This piece is very different from my first piano sonata which was very classical in style; this new sonata is much more romantically. The other three movements will probably follow next year, December is going to be a very busy month for me; no time for composing more music.

This is a wonderful opening movement, Andreas.

I look forward to listening to the other movements, next year.

Take care,

Paul.

Yes, &mdash 11/27/07 - 11:04:23 PM
very free and emotional in style. Beautifully played. I am also looking forward to the upcoming movements in 2008. I really like the bit of development about two thirds of the way through.

hi &mdash 12/03/07 - 10:05:36 AM
I play on a digital piano, connected to my mac and Garageband. For the sound I use Orchestra Sound Piano and some reverb.

ah, the piano &mdash 12/03/07 - 11:05:46 AM
one instrument i shall learn before i leave this plane of existance. it is eloquent, subtle, and in this case, a torrent of emotion and the conduting force of a million hearts, all yearing for the same thing; depth of feeling.
your playing is wonderful. your recording reminds me of an old record, played and loved for so many years it has lost some of its sound but none of its fire and intensity. great performance~

thanks, thats a really nice compliment. And the old records... I love those and miss them some times, even with all the perfect cd's we have now.
