Description:
Here is my LSP submission.

A couple of hints: The album this should have been on is one that contains music from more than one artist, including one other song by the group I'm so poorly emulating. Also, something would have concluded differently than it did for this song to have been included on the album. Also, also, it has nothing to do with Neil Young.

And, I'd like to add, this was a lot of fun and I hope we do it again.

I think I can handle it. Your description is quite cryptic - I think I'm getting something. Great song. At first the description alone had me thinking of The Last Waltz - but that's way off base. Hmmm.

First of all, awesome track! Great instrumental and vocally performed, arranged and mixed. Really good, impressive guitar licks. Sounds a lot like Psychadelic Furs... Wild guess; Pretty in Pink (movie soundtrack)!?

Joy Division? Oh I don't know, this one is a cranium cruncher. Nice track, even reminds me of The Lightning Seeds. But I know its not them. Dreams come true, and I have no clue, who this band is. Cool track.

I am a big Furs fan (saw them perform with the cello player in the early eighties). Oddly enough I am not familiar with the Pretty in Pink album, but this is a very Furs sounding song to me. Especially the chorus.

but I can't remember if I saw the Furs back in the 80s or not. Not because of any chemical problem, but there was a stretch where I was the music guy for our college paper and I went to just about every concert that came through the area for about five years. I think I saw them on one of their later tours, I want to say I saw them with The Smithereens, but that doesn't sound right.
