Lyrics
There's A Bell In The Valley

There's a bell in the valley
It sings to the wind
There's a bell in the valley
Where do i begin

This time i will listen
But will i hear the song

This night as i'm sleeping
A long, long way from home
I'm a long, long way from home

There's a voice in the valley
It speaks to my mind
There's a voice in the valley
It speaks to mankind

But who here is listening
And hearing what it says

This night as we're dreaming
A long, long way from home
We're a long, long way from home
We're a long, long way from home

nice
I could actually imagine thick as a long intro to a long chill-out ambiance song... equally good as it is though

This
Sounds like a real Choir and a real traditional Carol too, it all works well with a very seasonal sound, cheers M

.
that was about 10 separate takes all blended together, plus two tracks using the vocal transformer for the soprano parts. i fixed up a number of mistakes, but still there are lots of flaws in each track. my excuse is that it gives it a "real life, no one really knows the words" sort of feel to it. just like lots of real-life caroling tends to be like. :-)

thanks

Lead your flock man!
great piece - the flaws are perfect. Is that an oxymoron?

Holy Smokey
that's a excellent sound of a church choir you built.

Very traditional sounding

Superb!
Wow, this is incredible! Aside from a wonderfully written piece, this truly does sound like Church on Sunday morning. Very cool!
