Description
Jazz Sextet piano, vibes, bass, horns, reeds & drums

This was an experimental composition. I originally wrote this in a different sequence and with different instruments. What the horns play in the second half was originally played by a sitar as the leading motif, while what has become the main melody was buried underneath. I was listening to it one day and it all flipped over in my mind into the germ of what it is now. After playing around with the instruments and ranges it began shaping up into what I have here.
