I am back... And I wish all of you a merry christmas.

This is my version of the famous "Silent Night"... Christmas is about to listen, not to shout. Listen, there is a child, it is new born, it is small, it is vulnerable. But it promises you love, forgiveness and eternal live.
So listen!
Listen to your beloved, to your children and wifes! To your enemies and to your friends!

I love listening. This is slow, deliberate, and really warms me up with the piano part in the middle... the "end-cap" chimes are a perfect addition. Welcome back, Bernd, we missed you. I hope your life is settling down some and we can hear more of your creative music again.

Thank you for your kind comment. Yes, some messed up things have been cleared in the last months and now I am "back on stage". I moved house and I have only ISDN at the moment, so it is difficult to hear all the fine music I've missed. I hope the german T-Com will give me DSL soon...

there are few renditions of this lovely hymn that stop me and hold my soul... focusing me on that wonderful moment when He came as a babe... so incongruous, so counter-intuitive... a holy moment captured in your offering of Silent Night. Thank you.
