I have waited so long... &mdash 12/11/07 - 09:51:32 AM
Glad to hear your areas return! Unfortunately, I have waited so long for you to get to this answer-area, I have now forgotten what the question was! :-) But it doesn't really matter, I hope that this answer will only create more questions for you to work on. You are a very versatile composer, and I enjoy your journeys. One critique... this has lots of abrupt sounds in it, which is good... but... For the ending, I was expecting it not to fade out, but to be an abrupt ending too, for example, leaving the last wavy synth fading in there, but then suddenly have two low 1/8th notes in succession drop one then 2 octaves down., to suddenly stop the end. Just a little idea. Anyway, another great one... thanks!

Thank you Drak! Your comments and hints are always appreciated!
I am working on a different end...
See, pardon, hear the result later!
Greetings from a cold and grey Germany!

I knew... that is why I said "waited so long, I forgot the original question"... a reference to the book :-)
It is cold and gray here in California too, but probably not as cold as it is there :-)

Good old &mdash 12/11/07 - 02:40:07 PM
German synth music! Even if there are no real similarities I almost immediately get the Tangerine Dream feeling from this - which of course is good to my ears! Maybe some of the sounds remind me... But then you set your own signature to this, which makes it a sure fav and download :-)
So thanks! I'm glad you've found the time and energy to make music again. Probably because you found the answer to Life, the Universe etc?! It's great!

Tangerine Dream... I am honored...
My music is really not at the level of Tangerine Dreams, but I love the feeling of that music. And when you find this feeling in my work... what can I say?
There is a little story from my youth. When I was fiveteen years old, I learned playing on an good old analogue synthesizer (I have forgotten the type) at school (good school, I think) and this gave me a totally new access to music. This is still part of my musical feeling. You can find some of this kind of sound in the free remedy synth. (which is not used in this song BTW)
Thanks for listening and leaving such a kind comment!
