Description:
Nikola Tesla was a brilliant enigma.... a literal and figurative light in the darkness.... after some personal research on the man, the myth, the legend, this song sprang forth.... I do believe he had figured something out....something that scared the holy hell out of the power-brokers of the day....something that they have done well to hide away to this very day....I hope you find this a fitting tribute to a true genius of freedom....someone who perhaps stumbled upon the mind of God....peace and invention....Omnibus 11

Lyrics:
Tubes and Wires
Music and Words by; Ian Baird

What they cannot do, he had all thought through
Cordless and so clean, free electricity

He was always so removed, even sheltered at the Westinghouse
Forced to walk away from Edison, then Thomas tried to shut him out
Taking him for crazy, while being mystified by his finds
Had he stole the masters blue prints?? The equation of God’s design

We’ve heard the stories, of his laboratory
The tubes and wires, coiled safe lightening

He tapped into the planets frequency
He plugs the light bulbs in the land

Tell me what did know

New York hotel room, where he moved his mind to
When he had gone to sleep, his papers went missing

He tapped into the planets frequency
He plugs the light bulbs in the land

Tell me what did you know

He tapped into the planets frequency
He plugs the light bulbs in the land

Tell us what did you know

nice track &mdash 12/12/07 - 01:34:37 PM
cool lyrics and arrangement. i love how you put the indie rock style harmonies over the electronic symphony. sounds like you put a lot of work into this, a great tune.
