Wonderful psychedelic badd ass rock with silky smooth melodies, somehow I picture you wearing a long silky scarf while belting this out, classic music BPJ

Silk scarf &mdash 12/15/07 - 03:07:13 PM
I had a white initialed silk scarf once. Buckhorn takes all the credit really it's a great wee tune wie a big phat hook. Where's Ms K Tommy-boy?

Now this &mdash 12/15/07 - 01:27:43 PM
is fabulous. You brought some major fantastic pop style to this. Love the vocal, the guitar riffs and especially the do-waps. Thanks Bpj it made me smile. Super cool.

Thanks Buck... &mdash 12/15/07 - 03:17:57 PM
King For A Day will chart briefly in Uganda reaching number 8 in the summer of 2009 - if I'm wrong you owe me 400 'virtual' dollars. Tis the season to be calm.

A great &mdash 12/15/07 - 05:45:56 PM

Love it! &mdash 12/17/07 - 03:01:42 AM
Almost a Merseyside sound - Gery and the Pacemakers dragged screaming and kicking into the 21st century (is it really that late?!).

You never cease to surprise and impress BPJ! Have a great new year (and Hogmanay).

cool track....reminds me of something....but I cannot place what the hell it is....almost a manchester sound at work here....maybe that's what it is....great chords and I love that thick drum groove that drops in.....great vocals to...very dead pan and to the point.....great work....thanks for sharing with us other kids.....peace

Cool... &mdash 12/18/07 - 11:23:01 AM
...and the Strat sounds like an acoustic. Either you left that out of the hardware or you really know how to get the most outta that ax.

Nice stuff, bpj...

Guitapick... &mdash 12/18/07 - 07:23:44 PM
your original assumption on the acoustic guitar is correct...I think, the fine strummin's from Buckhorn's original track. Your ears are good - be lucky.

Endings currently reflect a sense of nihilism - however this will change when the moon enters my sun house. I hope this clears things up. Seasons greetings.

Good job &mdash 12/22/07 - 06:26:28 PM
I like how the first second sets the mood for the song, with the low-tech guitar noises. Actually, the rest of the song is a bit more sophisticated than that.

Great arrangement and well sung and played.

Hi y'all! &mdash 12/28/07 - 07:08:36 PM
Crazy as it may seem I find your reference to Simon vaguely difficult to understand - however I'm glad you stopped by Jimmy and I'm glad you like it... this tune is a fucking classic and the credit goes to a chap called Buckhorn. Be lucky.

Simon is one of the owners of this site. I was just venting, I suppose.

Carry on, friend.
