Description:
This song was basically a dare :)I was paired up with an 'unlikely collaborator' and invited to work on a song. And since I was up to the challenge.... ...You get to hear something a little different :) Tons of thanks goes to Jay "Ignoramus" (http://www.icompositions.com/artists/Ignoramus) for laying out the blistering instrumental track and doing all the production and final mix. I came up with some lyrics and did a lot of singing :) This was a fun departure, and great challenge for me. (Thanks again, Jay!) Jay "Ignoramus": instrumental track, mixing, production Mystified: lyrics, vocals, vocal mixing Lyrics:
Erase your sins--Reclaim the PastAnd douse the flames of sorrow. Time was your enemy, but now a friend A twist of fate--something you'll borrow (You'll) Travel in time to salvage the future Gazing deep into the hour glass And each grain of sand, it holds an eternity But what will you be tomorrow? Echoes bring a strange kind of solace Things you had and want once more Your memories...themes of tomorrow If you can find your way back home (So) Travel in time to salvage the future Shattering the hour glass And each grain of sand, it holds an eternity But where will you be tomorrow? Time Traveller....travel in time...reclaim the past Time Traveller, etc. You've travelled in time to salvage the future Shattering the hour glass And each grain of sand it holds your eternity But how can you see tomorrow? lyrics ©2007 Mystified Hardware:

Really sharp enunciation on the lyrics. One of the crispest sounds you've had this far.
A welcome beat after the first two verses really changes this one up to something less etheral... but that hot rock beat in the middle... SLAMMIN'!
Silly as this sounds, I was playing a racing game as I listened to this-- fit pretty well there. Better than the soundrack of game, that's for sure.
Rock Opera, Mystified is here.
