Description:
A simple reharmonization of the classic carol. I did some doctoring up, especially on the dynamics, since the keyboard I'm using doesn't have touch sensitivity. I had trouble making the overall mix quiet. It was quiet in GB, but when I sent it to itunes it got really loud. If anyone can help me with that I'd appreciate it.

Thanks so much, Bob for your kind words and for reaching out the way you do to make friends and be real with people here. It was encouraging to get emails from you during my long absence! Hope your tree is ok with my recording around it (I'm still trying to picture that)
Merry Christmas
Wish I were in Florida too (are you wearing shorts?)

harmony/ chords &mdash 12/19/07 - 07:40:15 PM
Thanks so much for your kind comments. Actually I have to confess I have been studying chord progressions via a DVD series that a friend of mine lent me which is where I got some of the progression ideas. I grew up playing mostly classical, but am trying to learn more about jazz etc. In my opinion this piece can't decide what it's doing harmonically, but it was fun to put some 6-2-5-1's in there etc.
Happy Holidays

Coming from you that means a lot! It's only one track though so it's not that hard to mix I suppose. Anyway thanks for your generous comments. I just listened to your Indigo Noel and will be heading over to comment. Merry Christmas!
