Bill, if only guitar strings... &mdash 12/20/07 - 10:38:50 PM
... could speak, wait... they can. What a beautiful piece of music. I can't imagine anyone else coming up with this guitar rendition other than yourself. Such feeling in every strum and pluck. This really stopped me and made me hover and listen. Thanks, and Merry Christmas to you my friend. I hope all is well with you.

Beautiful &mdash 12/20/07 - 10:43:49 PM
and moving. It gave me a reason to pause in my own busyness. Thanks.

Such a nice sound &mdash 12/21/07 - 07:24:51 AM
Such a nice sound you've got out of your guitar/recording. It's got a beautiful ring. I can't remember you've got it this way before (or maybe I've been too absent from MJ lately).

Dig this a lot.

Thanks Cori &mdash 12/21/07 - 09:11:47 AM
What I did was utilize just one mic instead of two. I think in many cases I can use just one instead two so they won't cancel each other out. With one mic I think it enabled me to achieve a lower end sound. But I did move the mic a bunch of different locations. Now that I am back in the San Francisco area I am trying a few things different and one is recording location and not always going for the two mic technique.

Thanks for coming by and sharing, enjoyed your composition as well.

Thanks &mdash 12/22/07 - 01:23:57 PM
Sometimes I get caught up thinking that two mics is the ultimate. But i think one mic can be just as good as two in many cases.

I used an AKG stick mic. C 451 B. I tested it in many places. I think having one mic to test is less confusing and you can be more accurate. At least for me.

Thanks for posting!

Great sound &mdash 12/24/07 - 09:58:09 AM
the placement of the mic that revealed the fullness of the guitar was a perfect choice for this song. The playing is as always flawless.

Not So Much a Silent Night... &mdash 12/26/07 - 12:47:31 PM
as a sensitive and lovely night.

Beautiful rendition, Bill. Is this folk jazz? That's what it suggests to me.

Well, whatever else it is, it is very well-done. Nice work, Bill. ;)

Thanks much ! I gave a lot of thought on this &mdash 12/26/07 - 02:01:32 PM
and true, but in reality, I am sure that when the savior was there as a baby.
And as babies do, they kick and move around. But not including that, earth life just can't all be calm. There has to be movement of some kind. But when a baby is truly still, the heart beats, the circulatory system goes at it like a factory that it is. As we are in the reality age, such as tv, I guess I geard the tune more in that genre. But though I am still not sure what genre you would call it.

Again thanks much for you comments!

Gorgeous, beautiful, elegant, stirring, harmonically rich, delicately yet powerfully played, just absolutely stunning.

Beautifully recorded, too!

An absolute delight in every way.
