I didn't really think much of which chords there are .. some places I think there are many different notes ringing at the same time which makes the chords somehow compounded (if that is what what fused means).. [ Reply to This ]

great control over which note to emphasize.It's a subtle thing but I've heard few people do it as well as you on steel string.(Segovia and Julian Bream were not too bad on nylon string.)

Wow thank you, those two were both heros in my younger days. So the comparison is not a little. I dig listening to old Segovia recordings still today. He didn't only have a genious for arranging, he was also a master of his instrument and he always played with such passion. He even played Bach with a great temperament. And he did old JSB justice. I know this song as "glade jul - hellige jul"... Stille natt is more a direct translation of the english version... but I guess it's known as that as well here:)
