Description:
This is a remix of the original file I posted but with some instrument changes and mastering.
It's a little ditty about recurring love problems and how they can affect you. Originally done in the early 90's in my little studio at home, but much enhanced here on the Mac.

Verse I
Every time I think I've settled down, -- And gotten my life - back on the track
It seems you always pick that time to come around
It's uncanny how you keep coming back
Every time you step back through that door, I know this lovin feelin can't last
The one thing that my heart can't stand, Is watchin you walk out again
You keep comin - back from the past
Chorus
Back from the past - like a haunting memory
Back from the past - will you ever set me free
If you don't love me - don't keep me on a string
And don't keep comin - back from the past
Verse 2
I know someday I'm gonna be O.K. ---- I'll find a girl to take the place of you
And even though it won't be quite the same
Well at least I know her love will be true
So the next time that you walk back out that door
I'm tellin you it's gonna be your last
The day is comin sure as rain - That I won't have to feel this pain
When your not comin - back from the past
Chorus
tag:
Yeah baby don't keep comin - back from the past

Thank you Feter &mdash 12/25/07 - 09:53:43 PM
After listening to the original file I posted in August, I felt I could get it to sound fuller if I reworked the mix some, but I wasn't sure it would really be better. Time and the audience will tell whether it's actually better, so we'll see.
At least my good friend Feter liked it and for that I'm thankful. Be well my friend and I hope you have a really great year in 08.
