Another fine example of your songwriting and performing abilities.Really like the solid,simple drive you've got here and that soothing guitar solo to finish it out.Thought about the discription as I was listening and the image of white people dancing badly made the piece that much more enjoyable!Thank God for visuals!

Nice smooth and soothing vocal, cool to hear you dabbling a little in your lower register. A little different style for you. For some reason I was expecting a little chromatic run in the guitar solo outro. Nice tune, and really easy on the ears. [ Reply to This ]

gotta love the loops. that bass is an apple loop that I tweeked to fit the song. thanks for the listen. recording like this is forcing me to play better I think and also gain a little confidence in my ability...

Nice tune and nicely played and performed.
I, too, thought of the Dead as I listened, mostly because of the clean guitar tone and some of the *countrified* accents you played.
On the other hand, I could also see this tune arranged a'la Joe Jackson, which is actually the type of arrangement I might have gone for on this one.
But I like the theme, the message and delivery.

Yeh, that's the one. But sometimes he used guitar-based arrangements, like... *Is She Really Going Out With Him?*
Just something I hear in your tune that suggests his type of arrangement... a good thing, really. ;)

nice bass! i'd turn that good backing up some - your solid vocal is strong enough to take a louder backing in my not very humble opine. i was startin to itch for a harmony when you came to my rescue - niiiiiice. anyone but me/she = what a wonderful segue! sweet job, paul.
