Description:
I didn't want to write about the hottie that anyone might see in a bar so I made her a tough trucker chick. Still hot, but pedals a mean clutch. More in the Route 66 motor drivin' vein I guess.
I had Lloyd Cole in mind when I was recording it. I love how his records are recorded.
Anyway, this one was fun and irreverent, kind of like me after a few belts of bourbon.

The cooking rock intro giving way to the almost country shuffle
The southern influence is strong.
I dig the t/rex rock rhythm guitar
the guitar playing is sweet and pro...
the vocal performance is so confident. The song really is very very cool

Love this.... that rhythm guitar really carries it through, but combined with your terrific vocals and guitar lead this should be a hit, but there's just one word will keep it off the airways LOL, though the lyrics are really good too, regards M [ Reply to This ]

Nice mix. It has the sale gleeful treatment of the F-bomb that Harry Nillson displayed on an old track called "F**k You." You drop it here like a proud airhorn. This is characteristically energetic yet tight and pro as anything you've done. (BTW this is my first comment here.. haven't even gotten any tunes loaded... being a refugee from that RAIDstorm that hit my home elsewhere.)
