.. and quirky. Does evoke images and feelings of the wee hrs, having burnt the candle at both ends, in that dopey, dreamy, hyped but walking through soup kinda way, nice use of fade-in and repeating chant like vocals.

Mix is excellent (as I'd expect): the way the guitar and dobro play off each other and the piano too. Perhaps the percussion could come up a smidgen...but that's just a
taste thing. I think it would suit the many ethnic/world elements in this.

I respect anyone that willingly steps out and up sharing their 'trials' with the rest of us.Certainly paints a picture of sleeplessness in it's varied use of sounds.A very dislocated dreamlike piece of music.Strange and yet satisfin'!

...in an Ummagumma sort of way. Very trippy. You seem to be riding a bit of a creative wave at the moment - lots of varied stuff coming through. All very entertaining. Not sure where this is going - if anywhere - but it works fine as is.

No big plans for anything else for this, I think it's just going to be this. It's basically a one-chord doodle that just got expanded so that I could learn a bit more about Logic. I think that's the main reason my current output is a bit adventurous, because I'm just trying new things out. This uses that crazy Ultrabeat Logic drum sequencer for its rhythmic basis, and then I added a bunch of other stuff.

the experiment was a success. As Feter said, this is very evocative. It has a bit of a Beatlesque quality. The production clarity of each instrument and your vocal is amazing. It is as if while listening I am floating downstream in a river of harmonic music sounds all blended and in synch.

Enough of that... I think I'll just go back to bed!

I pretty much need to take your advice and go to bed, but, then, I never sleep it seems, so it wouldn't do much good...

This is very cool and interesting. Kind of trippy. I love the way all the different instrumental elements kind of swirl around the vocals that really seem to anchor everything in place. Maybe a good lullabye for the schizophrenic.

i love the juxtaposition of the slide against the little rhythmic sound. what is that a marimba? this is like a cool Ry Cooder soundtrack; i love slide guitar and the blues, but really love when the slide is used in another context, great job.

Really clean and clear sounds Jim - a classy bit of experimentation. Interesting despite the lack of lyrics, and also a satisfying listen with lots of variety amidst the repetition.

Interesting guitar sounds with the slide. Maybe if someone can't get to sleep they can use this tune :) Hey, maybe you are onto something!

Glad to see you are experimenting with Logic. It is a very deep app for sure. But one that is indeed exciting.
