Description:
First of all I hope all the great MacJams guitar players will forgive me for the nylon guitar sample (can't play guitar or much else for that matter). If there was more time I would have at least broken up the velocities some. Anyhow, this was for a scene
of someone being led blindfolded.....then at the last moment you see its to break a pinata...thus and hence the title.

Very festive bit of Mariachismo. So did you write this out, or pull together loops? Either way, it flows very nicely, and is well mixed (although I'd bring the marimbas up a bit, they were very quiet back there.)

You've got it all wrong. My wife ran off with Maury Achi so I have nothing to do with the Achi's anymore.
But you are right about the marimbas.....bordering on no marimbas. I did this
in a hurry for a friend's little imovie and they had already burned the first mix I sent so it's history. No loops on this, just logic and some plugins. I can't read
music so as the old saying goes "I just made it up" and played it on my little keyboard.

every time i'm in a Mexican restaurant where they play actual Mexican music this fleeting thought crosses my mind that i should try using GB to create something in that style. apparently tequila erases those memories first.
as i was listening to your song, the fleeting thought of a margarita crossed my mind. the erasing phenomenon apparently doesn't operate in that direction. which is cool:
1. your song is great
2. now i can remember to try my own version some day
3. i need to leave now to go buy a bottle of tequila

what the tune was all about until I herd the wonderful music.
What a wonderful tune this is. Love that Polka feel. Chillingly good, especially the happy part. Love that part.I am a sucker for those polka sounds like that. Love it.

Man I love this music very much. The intro stuck a chord in me and the when the choir enter with the background strings it turn this to another direction. Very nice use of samples ... GREAT INTRO! Killer work ..
