Your Playing &mdash 01/05/08 - 04:40:22 PM
on this reminds me of Bill Connors who played on "Hym of The Seventh Galaxy" with Chick Corea.(One of my favorite fusion albums).Great stuff.

my favorite genre! &mdash 01/05/08 - 06:39:52 PM
why don't people like fusion as much as they did back in the day? To me, it's the HEIGHT of musicianship. And it contains flights of fancy, and a real chance to communicate between musicians as well as the audience!

Is that u on guitar, Frank? Tell Scott to pack it in!!!

Thanks so much! There is still a small fusion scene on sites like http://www.abstractlogix.com/...by the way who is Scott?

This tune was involved as far as programming the drums in Logic goes...it took me a little time to get it together. Playing the rhodes solo was lots of fun. Thanks again for listening.

What Mark said... &mdash 01/24/08 - 11:27:17 AM
..hear some Bill Connors in there. Definitely your own style, though. I mean...the composition and phrasing both have Scott Henderson in there, too, (and Jimi in some other stuff)...but you've carved your own niche from those influences. Great playing and compositions, man...

I'm also really impressed with the rest of the tracks and the production. Not just here, but on everything I've heard.
