Very Different...
and very delightful, Bill!

Nice use of effects, layers, yet still remaining primarily acoustic.

Good stuff!

Man, you continue to dazzle and amaze me.

Bravo!

You're one of the guys around here...
...who define "RELENTLESS devotion to your craft"... And I do mean 'relentless'...

And if, as we have noted, it means that the rest of us end up having to buy Bill-Furner-specific hard drives to catch all the versions and variations, well, I guess that's really a side issue, isn't it?

This reminds me of a guitarist I used to hear around, named Bennett Hammond, who used to play acoustic fingerstyle guitar through two or three little amps with delays and choruses set to slightly different settings, resulting in a huge, beating, reverberating acoustic sound...

Ed

Shining without glare
There is a phasing in the original that bugged me throughout that is not present in this version, cleaning it up and making it shine. I love the sense of holiday, winter, Christmas that permeates without being nostalgic or obvious. A delight.

you are so very kind, this tune was a new venture for me. Into a different realm of rhythm and Logic Pro. So new to it's capabilities. But lots of fun for sure. As long as i don't loose my files in it .
