... two posted tunes .... (a) cause I always try to listen to fellow canadians when I see that little flag online ... and (b) cause I read the part about you guys wanting some female vox ..... not sure what you are looking for in the way of vocals ...... but I always listen to the instrumental stuff in case I get the urge to "tinker" on em ... with my own weirdness ...... I like this ..... would have liked to hear that OLE lead guitar come in a little LOUDER in the mix tho ..... would like to hear more of your stuff and which tunes you would like some vox on ..... my own stuff ranges from weird to rock to crooney ... back to weird again ....

... sounds somewhere along the lines of what we've done. Over the course of the whole EP we cover a lot of ground, stylistically speaking, though it all definitely fits into the same groove and flow; the mood of the thing.
As far as what we're looking for in the vocal department, it's hard to explain. We basically know exactly what we're looking for, and we'll know it when we hear it. At the same time, there could be something we've completely overlooked in our calculations as to what would work with it. Trial and error I think will prove itself on this one.
Feel free to tinker away with these for now and we'll see what comes of it. Thanks for taking the time to check it out.

I like the 'Live' sound. Its a very relaxing track even with the harsh sounds. All the elements work with this track. The only critism really is that it might have gone on longer so that the other instruments could have been explored. Cool track.

I do understand what you mean about it going on longer, but the feeling in this one is meant to convey closure, more so than exploration, you know?
Also, this is the one I thought I was commenting on when I said the drums were to be redone with a new cymbal. Sometimes I get all confused and stuff. Neither of us here in the machine of Evelyn are overly bright. sorry.

... for taking the time to listen to this whole thing, and for taking the time to comment as well. It is much appreciated. I'm very glad to have made such an impression on you.
As for when the cd will be out, I can't say for sure, but we are working on it; pooling ideas and resources to the best of our abilities to get this whole thing off the ground.
