thanks Feter-- you are always good for words of praise :) -- I agree with you on the folk or acoustic rock classification, guess I was eager to have something listed as "psychedelic" oooo, ha ha. Also, with all the spacey effects I added to this I didn't want to turn off the traditional folk fans... Hopefully they'll check it out anyways :P

ok &mdash 01/07/08 - 08:26:02 PM
figured out how to switch genres, yahoo

Difficult one &mdash 01/12/08 - 05:50:09 AM
to place genre-wise but I think folk rock is more relevant than psychedelic. Anyway, I like it which is most important.

so much for the comment, as well as the addition to your favorites. This was my first jam with my new mandolin, glad I pulled it off ok. Hopefully more folk rock to come soon!

No problem &mdash 01/20/08 - 04:09:55 PM
I might even play it on my podcast show, if that's okay with you?

that would be &mdash 01/20/08 - 07:20:16 PM
awesome. I really appreciate you asking, the answer is absolutely-- Is there any way I can listen to said podcast?

Podcast listening &mdash 01/22/08 - 12:53:14 PM
What, can you listen to my podcast generally, or the one you're going to be on specifically? The answer is yes to both questions. My show is available via www.epilepticgibbon.co.uk
but I'm not sure when your track will be on, largely because I only do new shows once a month. But I will contact you via MacJams (or email, if that's easier) when I do play it. It may be a few months away but I'll get there eventually.

hey &mdash 01/22/08 - 11:13:37 PM
yeah just contact me on here, I'm on several times a day, so I won't miss it. I can wait a couple months, that's cool. I'm just excited that you think highly enough of it to consider this. Lemme know, thanks man

wow &mdash 01/21/08 - 05:51:31 AM
I can't pin a style on this one. . .definitely experimental--and VERY impressive. At first I was thinking "man that rhythm guitar is out of tune"--but it totally fits, and give the song some perfect imperfection if you know what I mean. Great work!

haha &mdash 01/21/08 - 07:00:14 AM
YES i know exactly what you mean about the imperfection adding something to the song. I was using kind a slap bass style on my old cheapo (but oh so dear to me) electric and it kind of adds to the bayou bounce feel of the whole thing. Glad you noticed, thanks for your input!
