for checking out my song, Buried Alive...
you asked my setup;
i play an Ibanez grx 20lefty. pretty much the cheapo ibanez, but i put a duncan jeff beck in the lead position, and a duncan jazz in the rhythm spot. i do alot of my tracking using a line6 podx, but i am starting to do more and more guitar tracks via my line6 spyder ll, miced with a shure sm57...if you check out my "virtual Band," Montgomery California, our new song, posting this week is recorded using the spyder.. i use drums on demand loops, for the drums, and while slightly limited eq wise, they are really easy to work with, and can be made to sound pretty impressive. my bass is a 100 dollar rogue lefty, using two tracks and tow different presets via the Garageband bass tone library. my voacls are recorded with an mxl990 vocal mic. i run everything into an m-audio firewire solo interface. no lag, and it has all the inputs i need to go stereo with the pod, as well as stereo with my ibanez acoustic electric. that's pretty much it, my monitors are m-audio dx-4's.......hope you liked my stuff, and i certainly like yours. welcome to macjams, and tell all the metal-ers there is a need for good metal around here!!
be sure to check out Montgomery California for our new tune, "I Am Monster.."
