Description:
This is the first song I put together using Garage Band.
It was so much fun. It was generally going to be a song with lyrics and I actually wrote the music a few years ago. I hope you enjoy it!

Hardware:
1.25 GHz Emac computer.

Software:
Garage band.

very nice debut! &mdash 09/19/04 - 11:09:55 AM
I like it! Can see where vocals would be nice. Its very
soothing. Never sure how to rate vocal songs though...is it
the production or the voice being rated? I tend to look for
instrumentals..just so I can be envious!

ambient to pop? &mdash 09/20/04 - 07:21:14 AM
I was surprised when the song turned from rather ambient
to more articulate. I really liked that breathy intro, but I
think that drum track is really stale. Even the piano
sounded shallow compared to that intro... Perhaps some
reverb and echo on the piano would help it blend into the
intro more. I like the chord progression, but the sounds
aren't fully blending yet, in my opinion. At one point, you
have some very pretty chimes, but then they cut out really
abruptly. I hope this comment helps some. Good job!

i likes it ! &mdash 09/23/04 - 06:34:08 AM
don't worry too much about blending the sounds . . .
they sound great as they are !
over production is killing art !
i particularly like the 'cutting off' of the chimes sound
. . . gives a kind of reverse feeling in the track (fitting
in nicely with the title)

keep on trucking !

Way to go. &mdash 09/25/04 - 09:31:31 PM
I love how this song has such a slow, pretty melody yet
has that cool beat just underneath.
I'm not good enough with this GarageBand stuff to say
anything about production but I do know when I like
something, and I like this.

great first post! &mdash 10/06/04 - 03:02:22 AM
seems like a classical song with a high-tech twist.
frankly, i would like to hear more 'tech' since those were
the sounds that made it interesting for me. the song is
put together really well, however-nice composition.
looking forward to your other stuff

The first song is special &mdash 12/02/04 - 03:20:16 AM
The first song you do with Garage Band is always
going to be special and I'm glad you enjoyed working
on it. This starts off well but doesn't go anywhere
particularly exciting, at least not for a piece of
progressive/art rock. Good first try, though.
