Attitude...
..to spare. I love the guitar on this, and am a sucker for distorted vox. Mix is ok, tho drums a bit loud and dry.

This has a great chugging groove ... little bit Strokesy, but with better guitar.

I'm a fan

Alright - we have a fan!
wait till I tell the boys. Thanks for your comments Steve. There's really no separation in the tracks we get out of the zoom - gets a little dimension to play with. Next time I'll hose the drums down before we record.

aspirin and sucrets
much to like about this tune. especially the vocals and the drums. That little Zoom sounds pretty good. I hear a little Robyn Hitchcock with a dash of Lou Reed live on heroin. good stuff! Rock Onward!

Many thanks 11i's

Honestly
I got a little tired of hearing 'secret', too; but this is REAL so who gives a good goddamn what I think of the lyrics? There's a pretty magical vibe here that only comes about from actually sitting down with real, live people and making a song; and I'm all for it. More!

Thanks Sonny
Appreciate you stopping by. The live thing is a real "warts and all" adventure - a real contrast to my usual GB experience.

pure passion
I really liked this. The chorus with the keys is spectacular. The guitar work was cool, & unabashedly in your face. The panning on the vocal made it seem as if you were singing behind the phone on my desk. That was really trippy.

Michael - you're too generous
The Fall meets Pere Ubu - right on.
The guitar setup is my Danelectro DC'59 reissue played through a 1980 Roland Cube 40 guitar amp with a few old Boss boxes only.
LSD 25 (formerly John - of The Reverb Motherfuckers) plays a guitar he built out of Japanese scraps and his own custom pickups. The thing has a big whole right through it where some old electronics were. He built it to sound like his Supro - but easier to play. He uses a mix of home made and store bought pedals run through an 80's Roland Cube 40 keyboard amp.
