needs some fluctuations... &mdash 01/12/08 - 02:52:44 AM
The initial verses are monotonously repetitive and that immediately distracts someone with a short attention span who looks for immediate variation. the progression is interesting but too slow and it takes times to build up the interest. it has lots of novelty in it however to get my attention glued to it... i love the high strings chiming in around the third of the song, but then it is short-lived , and thankfully immediately enlivened by a heavy dance beat that gets things going in higher speed. The music does shape up into a techno-dance song somewhere in the middle where it begins to flourish with installment additions of interesting sounds. pretty cool but i feel it needs some highlights and a little more structure to give it a more interesting musical form rather than just loops slapped together. Quite a laudable effort. I expect new compositions from you will even be better ... [ Reply to This ]
cool stuff &mdash 01/12/08 - 08:32:21 AM
keep rocking! and as for the comment above me, just do your thang. Progress is like a flower. It needs time, food and attention. It is good to see you are back on the musical horse!
love,

my style &mdash 01/13/08 - 07:36:06 AM
i really enjoy all the comments, positive or negative it all helps. Mostly my style is stream of consciousness, improvised electronic meditations and is not intended for short attention spans, most songs are over 6 or 7 mins and are built on texture and space. thank you all for the comments.
