Description:
Weighing in at just over 4 minutes, a few extra bars added. More incongruous pencillephany. The last several measures of this version are meandering... don't know where they're headed just yet.

...the way you use those orchestral lows... Listening on headphones, it becomes apparent that you get it that there are different ranges and timbres in the bass realm, and you get a nice pulse going there...
I also like the melodies that are unfurling in this piece...
I find that there's a disconnect, to my ears, between some of the very realistic sounding orchestral instruments, and some of the more synthy sounds... The passages during which there are more natural instruments have my ears or my mind going, "aaah,...yeah..." And of course I may be wrong, but it seems like there are more natural sounds from the bass into the lower midrange, and more synthy sounds from the lower mids into the treble, so it feels like the top end sounds more artificial...
It really is fascinating to watch these pieces of yours take shape, Al...

...and I really love the "meandering" at the end. Sounds like it's moving towards a bit of sadness and, possibly, foreboding...those essential ingredients to songs with...well...sadness and foreboding, I guess....
