Description
This was a song my group did for end of first year Music Systems Engineering using the Uni studio. Hats off to Jon for the awesome piano, synth and acoustic guitar parts. Mark is one of the best bass players and nicest guys I've met. Tipple didn't turn up much but should get a mention for the VIcky's mum humour.

Lyrics
Angela received a letter, when opened and what she saw, drove her to the lands edge, where sand meets the water.

This is my intro to your music
and I'm really impressed with what I'm hearing. Everything's in the the right place - excellent writing - playing, singing - production. Pretty cool. I'll be back.

Thought so
I just had to check your artist page. You can take a welshman out of the country but you can't take the country out of the welshman. thought I spotted a touch of Gorkys in your song. Nice playing and build up. Little bits of Keane there..or is that just pianos. had a listen to your other stuff and liked that too. Keep it up

Great song!!
nice arrangement here,, but I wish the vocals were more up front. I dig the guitar playing. I'll have my ears on for your tunes. Thanks for sharing

Thanks
Thank you guys for your comments. I've been out of here for a while lately as I've been moving house (again!) and reworking nearly all of the songs on my profile. The good news is that now I can record a live drum kit.
Thanks again.

Way cool
I can't believe your not as popular as you should be. Your voice is great. Maybe, just put your voice up a little and the piano down a bit. But, overall, I'm very impressed.

Great piece of songwriting.

Gee thank you
I think I left the mix low because I'm a little shy about my voice. The piano is a bit high because it was a joint mix. There was like four of us in a little mix room at uni. Four engineering students pushing to be heard. I guess I can remix it now.
I don't aim to be mega popular but those of you who appreciate the songs make me feel great.
Thanks again all of you.

tsada
voicing is pretty cool. Feeling like walking in a beach early morning. Great mix and cleanly made. Easy to love kind of music. Congrats mate! By the way, I'm also left handed but plays guitar and bass only, with little keyboard skills.

Thanks
It is sea themed. I felt the same which inspired me to write the lyrics which I totally failed to post fully.

Thanks again
