Description
I composed this song sometime in early 2006, so it's a couple years old. Yet, it remains one of my favorites. Listen, enjoy, and give any feedback you may desire. There's a few things about it I don't like too much anymore... Unfortunately, my Band file for this piece was lost forever in a hard-drive accident. What will be will be.

Oops.
Sorry, everyone. I submitted two too many Gardnazeths. Just... ignore this one and the one below, and only respond to the bottom file.

I prefer this one: )

Intriguing and powerful keys!

Haha.
Awright then. I guess we can go with this file.

Glad you enjoyed it, at least in concept. I wanna do a fuller orchestra if I ever remix it traditionally. I've already done two more modern-sounding remixes.

Gardnazeth
great writing my freind tence strings and tempos
pop orchestra more than classic here ..welldone !
Laverne said 682 days ago (January 13th, 2008)
Good points, both.
Feter, I'll choose my genres more carefully from now on. Indeed, pop culture has influenced my music a lot, bringing out more pop sounds. Thanks for listening – glad you like.

Tom Wounded, I'd like to stop being a rip-off, but I never figured out how to insert a picture. That's not the same as a banner, is it? Because the banner talks about really weird proportions, like the size of this textbox. Any help? I'm drowning in an ocean of confusion.

info
in account information choose a file on your comp and add an avatar, size is no big deal as long as its not too big....Banner appears on the MJ home page, it displays & cycles through different people, 1 each time you enter the home page.

impressive
i can't believe how destructo the drums are. who cares what genre, this is a really cool piece of music. love when the dynamics come down a bit and then you go into the monks singing section. great job.

Lovin' it
I've had something in my head along these lines for some time now but can't seem to come through and put it into music form. Great work with the strings and vox parts. I'd love to see more of this from you. Definitely gives you a tense feeling and a slight sense of impending doom haha. Great job, this is probably my favorite one from you.

Thanks, SinJim.
Cool! I'm really happy this one is your favorite thus far. It's among my favorites too. I'll definitely be doing some more concentrated orchestra sometime soon. Maybe once I update my laptop and get better speed.

Soon, I'll post a Gardnazeth Remix that I made a while ago.

Good job
I like the piece. It sounds like it was on its way to another movement at the end there. The phrase that starts this could lead to another movement that settles down to a more mournful theme and then back to the original for a big finish. Was that your original idea? I haven't listened to any of your other work yet so I don't yet know your style, but I like the way you arrange strings.

Good Advice
Thanks for the listen, sir. I think you're onto something when you talk about that melancholy phrase leading into another movement. I'm currently tampering with a few different Gardnazeth remixes, so that's a very valid idea. Thanks again.

You do a nice job
how the bass moves along, then it gets real intense, you waste no time with the intense part and it seems to have a lot of emotional music going on. Sounds like you put work into this tune, lots of advanced percussion it it seems to me, plus the synth speed is quite extraordinary.

Thanks for sharing
