Description:
This is a slower dance track. Reminiscent of Depeche Mode, I suppose. I really like what I have so far and would like to, once again, add vocals to this. The whole track came very easy to me, as far as getting something put down and semi-arranged. Hope you all like this offering. I know MacJams is very limited on their genre selection so I will try and choose one that is appropriate for this. It's always difficult when I create a track like this, choosing where to put it for maximum exposure. Anyway, enjoy!

P.S. There are no loops in this track. All done by little ol' me.

Good structure &mdash 01/15/08 - 07:51:58 PM
I really like the very accessible structure of this song and I also like the "sonicscape" (to coin a new word) you established with the synths here. Engaging to listen to.

Nice! &mdash 01/15/08 - 09:11:44 PM
This has a very open feel to it that seems like it would be an excellent candidate for vocals. I hope you could get someone to take that challenge. Nicely written track, Richard!

This has a great sound &mdash 01/16/08 - 06:12:19 AM
and excellent production values. I love the combination of synth sounds and the melody lines. Good mix, and great melodic instrumentation. This one does kind of cry out for vocals, I would say, but it also stands on its own two feet, I would say. Does make me think of Depeche Mode, which is a good thing! Nice work. Peace.

Ah ha! &mdash 01/18/08 - 04:37:35 PM
At last I got it. I knew there was a song by TD that this reminded me of and in my limited iTunes collection of 103 TD songs (15,6 hrs) I found Mount Shasta from the album Lily on the Beach, 1989. By no means it's a rip off, only some sounds, especially at around 1.30 and 3.00 in your song, but it was fun to go looking for it :-)

So, another good one that I enjoyed a lot! Thanks!
