A cosmic dance &mdash 01/18/08 - 05:17:46 PM
Glad you've started posting!

This is great stuff ... it's really taking my head somewhere. Lovely the way all the contrasting twangy things kind of emerge out of the music and then morph themselves back into it again, like the whole thing is organic and constantly regenerating itself in a flow of new forms.

Funny how the Muses always seem to be portrayed as these frightfully genteel ladies ... that's not how I see them at all!

Thank you! &mdash 01/18/08 - 05:30:52 PM
I just discovered a few rough edges I hadnt heard before. So there will be a more fully realized version at some point :)

I love making electronica feel organic and I cant seem to help myself but to work in lots of layers for more lushy feels.

As for genteel ladies... hehehe just wait until I get some of my photoshopping images ready! Not your everyday muses..lol!

they exhaust us &mdash 01/18/08 - 11:41:21 PM
the muses, they are impulsive powerful hurricane gusts of excitement that we are powerless against. And you captured a great undulating sonic bed here... well done! Definitely fun by itself, but also could be sprinkled with a little something here and there. This is leaning a little into "BorisLuxx" territory, very tasty. And I hear teeny bits of Mike Oldfield, Pink Floyd...

Oh lovely descriptions! &mdash 01/19/08 - 08:46:29 AM
Muses aside (not for long though, I am sure), those were all pretty heady comparisons my friend :D! Thank you most kindly.

I agree completely about the sprinkability of this one, and like you said fun on its own too. Which is why I put it up... I ran out of fitting sprinkles for this and almost started using sawdust by accident.

Thank you so much for listening, as always... and very sappily meant :) .

I am so happy you gave me a listen! Glad you liked it... it really feels like a good bed for some other things on top to me. I think I need to come down on a few fx here and there to allow some room for other sounds to come in and play.. will probably repost this one at a later date :)

Oh and Ive been here a while this is my second project on MJ my first is Didge-ache . Thanks for the warm re-welcome though!
