Description:
Just the kind of soft background music you would expect at the downtown cafe having dinner with your significant other. Nice and enjoyable. I am not sure what to make of the bass. I have been shy of straying away from piano solo.
Man, I wish I could play the upright bass and the drums!
The kettle fountain picture was taken at a cafe/dining place in China

Lovely &mdash 01/19/08 - 05:22:00 AM
relaxing and perfect listening for those times when you're sat with nothing to do. I would have liked a bit more though (I'm greedy for nice things ), regards M

Hi Moviz &mdash 01/20/08 - 11:22:42 AM
I am glad you liked it. I had some difficulty coming up with a decent bass; although it could be better, it was a nice learning exercise.

Really pretty, EG &mdash 01/19/08 - 10:55:27 AM
Peaceful and relaxing, and happy. Now I want to go to China and sit by the outdoor teapot. Oh, well, can't have everything.

coffee? tea? &mdash 01/19/08 - 12:52:08 PM
nice relaxing lounging music... it has a bit of crisp punchiness to the playing that keeps it from getting too mushy... but still has the rolling gentle warmth of your style. Nice!

I never knew dragons could actually sit and relax in a lounge! do they wear headphones while flying?
Thanks for your comments

Nice... &mdash 01/19/08 - 05:07:11 PM
Enrique,
I left a longer note directly to you, but wanted the public response to register POSITIVE...Very nice playing as usual and a most-relaxing number. Only wish it were longer. I was just getting into it when...it ended. That was a fast cup of coffee.

...sketch, Enrique. Very sweet. I wish I could play bass and drums, too. This is a beautiful piece...

Hello &mdash 01/23/08 - 10:21:06 PM
I would think you could play bass without any trouble if you play the guitar. Couldn't you?

Well... &mdash 01/24/08 - 04:57:41 AM
...if I put the time into it, "yes"...

As is, the strings are too fat for my taste, so I'm very uncomfortable on the neck and that keeps me from working on it...

Sing &mdash 01/23/08 - 08:07:16 PM
You really make that Ivory sing, Enrique. Great touch and very interesting structure. Chord changes are emotional but not over-the-top. Your quick passages have evenly articulated 16th (32nd?) notes, and are a pleasure to hear.

If I had a cafe you'd be hired &mdash 01/31/08 - 08:06:55 AM
Lovely piece to have scones and tea to. Ah. It's over. I applaud politely and tell the waiter to buy the pianist a scotch and soda, though I know that he'll probably bring him an apple juice.

Lovely. Just lovely.
