Hello My Friend

Description
"Hello My Friend" is an exploration of three basic components: A stop beat rhythm, improvised, mic-ed piano, and improvised vocoded vocals. I started with the beat, rapped out the vocal after an upsetting phone call from a family member that only ever seems to care about what I can do for her. Then I jammed out a few piano lines and cut and pasted them into a cool grove. Lastly I used a vocoder to adjust the vocal pitch to work with the piano. Loops three times with minor variations and boom. Funky little track. Would appreciate macjammers thoughts!
