Choir of Robots

Description
This is me messing around with my keys and the synth sounds available on GB'08. The drums are loop, but the rest is the keys, or the "robots" as my daughter describes it. Thus the name, "Choir of Robots". I plan on making an "album" of children's music that would have this kind of feel. Those of you with kids know the pain that is children's music so something a little more interesting couldn't hurt at all... and what's more, is my daughter loves this stuff. Oh well. Hope you enjoy!

That would be fantastic! I'm sure she'd blow it out of the water (as she normally does!). Thanks for stopping by.

Children
It is amazing. Children are so fascinated by music so it must be fun to have music around when you're growing up. Thanks for listening!

Just a note to say Hi
dropped by this song and really enjoyed the listen. Nice twist to a familiar theme. Love the title and the idea of the choir of robots.

Thanks!
Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you enjoyed my little project. It was fun little departure. My daughter pretty much came up with the title. She came in and the synth sounds like a robot to her so she got all excited about the robots. I saw it through her eyes... a bunch of robots "singing" and thought that it must be fun for a little one.

Just because it's kids music doesn't mean you HAVE to be a kid to like it, right? Haha. Thanks for dropping by and listening!

you know
i have a fear of most kids music (probably cuz i'm afraid my girl will want to listen to it). i am always trying to turn her onto somewhat outlandish things. great job.

Nice Idea
Eric,
I'll bet you could make a song-list and your fellow parents and grandparents here at Mac Jams would even line up to do their versions for the album. It would be a great collaboration.

cool idea
I wouldn't know where to start with that, though. I say if you've got something to throw a twist on, put it down and we can all have a delightfully weird CD for our little ones.

Excellent
Great work, unique and outstanding. I love, that you dare to start with this extraordinary intro for a children's song. It is so difficult to write music for children, cause they are absolutely honest. And if it is wishy-washy, they won't like it. But this is an arrangement of high quality, great artistry, charming and full of atmosphere. children will like it :-) So do I!

fun
nice production. when i randomly play guitar i always seem to make guitar riffs that sound like theme songs or kid songs lol. perhaps i ought to get out the loops and start messing around like i used to

loops
Why not? I just used the drum loop and then messed around on the keys. I think loops are a good way to get something started (if you're having trouble). People hate on the loops. Bad rap, I say.

Robots as rock stars
Who would build a robot rock star. Why wouldn't they just make themselves rock stars? I'm referring to the people building the robots. Why would you build someone else to be a rock star. That's stupid.
