Norman......... &mdash 01/22/08 - 03:36:57 AM
This is tight brother! So many nuances that I can hear with perfect clarity. Great production my friend! I think this is one of your best mixes, and of course your guitar is phenomenal. this piece has so much color and is so vivid and bright, I had to dawn my Bolle's just to listen to it (};-P) It's nice to have you back, if even for a short awhile! you were definitely missed. I'll be emailing you..... Outstanding performance!

Outstanding &mdash 01/22/08 - 07:46:35 AM
What a great and fun tune. Makes you want to get up and move! I'm amazed at all the different instruments that you use in this from the horns to the flute. Great ending as well. Very cool. I like the guitar tone near the end of the song and I think it fits better than some of the heavier distorted tones earlier in the song. Very impressive effort!

serious jamfest... &mdash 01/22/08 - 08:02:08 AM
i do not know if these were loops strung together in perfect harmony, or if you are a prodigy, cause it is impossble tp tell...production is through the roof on this tune. it is clean and tonally perfect at every volume. everything has its own frequency, and sits there perfectly...
as always, struck.

No slow start on this one.
Love the organ when it come cookin in. A bit low in the mix for me.
Tough to play over all that jazz, but when you pick up your guitar you are cooking with the finest of ingredients i must say. The result is this fine tasty groovy swirling jammin hard played masterful musical piece.
Love that organ. And your guitar is superb as usual. You are a great player.

Great production/got me diggin for some Brecker Brothers vinyl.
Man real nice

Wow is such a tired word &mdash 02/05/08 - 01:08:54 AM
but sometimes it covers things quite nicely. This is so incredibly tight!! Virtuoso jams on all the parts and very cool vibe all round. When you step out there with the lead, it just takes off and soars and the pick-up on the organ after is perfect. The tone on all the instruments is really incredible and the hand-offs between them is fantastically cool.

.. it's quite obviously .. &mdash 02/26/08 - 10:59:30 AM

.. got far too many notes.. the score must look like you dropped a packet of raisins on it ;o) lol

Seriously though ..this is superb .. solos sometimes sound a little Vai-esque .. I actually prefered the more playful twiddling answering other instruments .. and man ..
what a lot of great groovy parts you got going on!

Fabulous arrangement and real tight... never tired...
mix is superb and all the instruments works so well
with each other... real big band sound.

I got a new 'hit the town' motivator song :o) Thanks!!

Melange of sounds and styles &mdash 03/09/08 - 03:35:54 PM
Lots of different styles all mixed into one song, pretty cool. I really liked some of the organ sounds and riffs that you played. I'm not sure about the drum loop you chose or perhaps the tempo. I'd like to hear a little slower. (Nice drum loop though) Sounded to me like three different guitar sounds and soloing styles. Nice!

Speaking of tempo, nice change to the slower part at the end.

WOW! I'm just discovering you because you posted "Return to the Crossroads" this morning. THAT was so great, it made me want to come here. THIS is exceptional. We're groovin' to this in our living room as I write - what a great mix of instruments, and however you're doing this, it's extremely impressive. I can see I'll be going through your whole catalog - thanks Norman! Hope you post some more of your amazing music soon!
